Ok, finally caught up so here's my first comment. This is wonderfully written and illustrated! I'm hooked by the story, and you draw women so well that I was rather surprised when you showed us that first photo of yourself in Spain. I just assumed you resembled your avatar, like I do.
Lucky guy! Growing up around a lot of black women, that is. So did I. Anyway, I had this wacky idea about where this comic might go. In figure drawing classes we used to start with 10 second poses, then 20 seconds, 30 seconds, then several minutes. It loosened us up, and after that a 30 minute drawing felt like we had forever to finish it. So, Naomi carries her sketch pad with her and sees a bank robbery in progress. She whips out her pad and quickly sketches a superhero character who foils the robbery, thereby becoming a secret superhero herself, known as...The Scribbler!

I love it! That actually sounds like a good side adventure. After the comic proper, I might do some mini adventures in a simpler style. That idea actually has a lot of potential. :)
Yes, I'm a guy. Sorry, lol. I guess I grew up around a lot of black women so...yeah. :)
