Hey, everyone and happy Saturday! I know this isn’t an update of the comic, and I’m sorry for that. Please give me some time to build up a buffer. I haven’t been wanting to work digitally lately. I started feeling like a fraud. I wanted to make sure that I could still draw traditionally, so I went back to paper, and I’m loooooving it. Just give me a few weeks, and I will get back into the swing of things. Inktober helped me realize that I actually can draw, I guess, lol. I was a little insecure in my art skills for a while. Anyway, until we see Naomi again, enjoy Jane Foster as Thor. And thanks for sticking around! :D

While lady Thor was not something that I liked, I do love Jane Foster and I love how you drew her. She is still a lovely character no matter what.

Thank you! I think the drawing came out pretty well. My good friend, Jairus, didn't like her at first either. Thor is his fav, so he was furious, but once they established that she had cancer and couldn't be Thor for long, he decided to enjoy the comics. Thor is now Thor again, but she was a good Thor. It wasn't cool that they gave her his name, but she held the title with pride. And I love her now as Valkyrie. She just can't stay away from Asgardian myth, lol.

I did not agree with giving her Thor’s name because Thor is a specific character not a mantle and I did not like how many things seemed Mary Sue-ish to me. However, Jane is still a great a character regardless of the mistakes of some of the writers.

Yeah, I totally agree about the name thing. It’s HIS name, not a moniker. She could have wielded the hammer and just been The Goddess of Thunder or something. When she first got mjolnir, she only ever referred to herself as The Goddess of Thunder. Jason Aaron, the writer, wrote in a conversation between she and Thor, where Thor no longer felt worthy of his own name, simply because he couldn’t wield mjolnir, so he gave her permission to take his name. She was reluctant, but she did it, and people mostly just called him Odinson. However, throughout the run, Jane (as a civilian) kept reminding Thor that he is so much more than his worthiness, to not let the hammer define him. She wanted him to believe in himself again. But, I guess Jason Aaron thought that people could not take her seriously if she were to be a stand in for Thor unless she took his name. I guess we’ll never know if it would’ve worked any other way. :/ It’s nice to have our confident Thor back, though, one arm and all, lol.

I don't know if I'd ever want to go back to drawing on dead trees. I mean, no ctrl-z or infinite draw-overs. That's harsh! Nice work!

I guess for me that’s the beauty of it, lol. Traditional art is so... temperamental. It makes it so much more rewarding. You have no idea how many drawings I’ve given up on, but the successful ones outweigh the unsuccessful. :)
